Subject: Topband: vertical antenna guy rope tensioners

Hi All,

Found some very handy inexpensive guy rope tensioners suitable for
lightweight tubular verticals such as the Titanex range and similar.
Handles
2 - 5mm guy ropes.
They're called Clamcleat Line-Loks, available very reasonably from:-
http://www.cleats.co.uk/home/default.asp

Been using 5 of them with 4.5mm Kevlar to steady my Titanex V-160-HD in
some
bad storms over the past year.

I've no connection with the Firm at all, just passing on the info.

If you use a Driver's Hitch or Trucker's Hitch one does not need any
additional equipment to tension a rope type guy line.
