With three or four 5 foot metal speaders at the top I would drop wires to the ground in the form of a cage. Make sure the coax and rotor cables are all grounded or chocked at the base. I would not at first worry about finding the sweet point in the form of a tap to the tower. You already have a unipole with the cage connected at the top of the steel and your grounded coax or a single wire will provide the return path to ground, which ever is easier. Use a CLC network to match the tower or use an impedance bridge to save time. You will fid that even a 54 foot top loaded vertical is most likely a better DX performer than a cloud warming sloper.
