Topband: hardly worth getting up early

UA0CA and DS1REE both had pretty good signals around 1300Z but the QSB was ferocious with signals fading from near the S9 mark to simply not there over a period of about 30 seconds and then slowly regaining strength.

The fish beacon on 1818 didn't help much either especially since the QSB did not seem to be affecting it as much and it was right on top of DS1REE

I should have slept in being pretty tired from doing salvage and repair work all day yesterday at the antenna farm we have been building.  125 MPH winds tore up some structures there and sent a 8 X 10 metal building housing the generators hurtling right through the beverage antenna field while scattering debris for a half mile.

The big cage antennas are designed for 150 mph winds and survived with no damage while some fences were torn down.  Fortunately there was no damage to the main building housing the radios and computer equipment.
