Last year during the CQ 160 CW, a friend of mine came to my station to
operate a couple of the hours that start with 09 and 10 while I snoozed.
He logged RV6CC at 1013Z, which is about 1.5 hours past the latest
European sunrise (0830Z in Ireland). Turns out that the correct
callsign is RV1CC, and my call appears in his log, per the CQ Log
adjudication report. RV1CC is in St. Petersburg, Russia. His sunrise
is 0654Z and sunset is 1316Z. So, K1LT worked a Russian station 3 hours
before his sunset, or 3.3 hours after his sunrise, or close to noon
his local time.

Just another data point in the daytime 160 DX conspiracy.

Victor, K1LT
