Petr,
I have a temporary 200m BoG which I deploy across my local farmers field in
directions that I cannot put a permanent BEV. I only deploy it when there is
some 160m DXpedition that I need in that direction.
It has worked extreemly well and enabled me to put several "new ones" in my
Log which would otherwise have been impossible.
It's simply a length of thin insulated wire fed in the same way as a BEV
except that the xfmr is 4:1 instead of 9:1. It's just laid directly on the
ground in a straight line and in my case, un-terminated. You might need to
check it every week or so in case the "local critters" have had a nibble of
it !
I cannot get involved in any theory about these things, I'm an entirely
practical person. "Suck it and see" is my philosophy ;-)
My advise would be to try a BoG, give it a chance and see if it works for
you. You've nothing to lose, apart from a bit of cheap wire !
GL
Dave
