Topband: Beverage Feed Line Choke Installation

I would add to this as well, all that Charlie said below as well as 
disconnecting the feedline from the remote antenna and terminating it in 
it's characteristic impedance and listening on the rx.  If you hear anything 
at your frequencies of interest you have common mode issues.  If it is dead, 
you should not have to worry about common mode chokes.

Empirical results from my experience.
