Topband: 160 m phased verticals wiht 1/8 lamda spacing ?

Hello
Due some space limitations I have planned to use 1/8 lamda spacing  
between top band verticals. According ARRL antenna book phasing  
should be 135 degrees.
There is not much informations about this. Is there any reasons not  
to use this spacing. Even the gain is a bit better than in 1/4 lamda  
spacing (4,2 dB versus 3,1 dB). So far only one vertical is erected,  
another still laying on the ground.

I would be happy to get some ideas.
