Topband: Beverages inside a hedgerow?

Colin,

beverage through wooded area is not a major problem,
i use 3 like this, and they rose my score from 150 to 224
the best is #1 240m forward SE

The  worth factor is ground quality,
as poor is ground as poor is front to back,
In the local sandbox, ground resistance between ends
is measured in DC at 1500 ohms  (bev #2 320m forward South )
it make only 10 dB difference between loaded and not loaded mode,
on northen signals.

A nearby hill  in front of bevearage #3, 200m forward NE ,
reduce signal level, but not signal to noise,
but also rise capture angle,
where sometimes there is no signal comming.

Even with handicaps beverages are better as anything else.
