If you're up for a little 160m season warm-up, a bunch of Washington (state)
stations may be on 160m at 0500z 09/19 (this is Saturday evening for most folks
in the USA) for the Washington State salmon run. More details on the event are
located at http://www.wwdxc.org/salmon-run/2010-salmon-run/2010-salmon-run.html
.

If plans go correctly, W7PRC (K7EDX and N9ADG, ops) will be using a 1/4 WL
happy-birthday-balloon suspended vertical from the San Juan Island, Washington,
with 100 Watts; if conditions are favorable, it's possible to work into the EU,
and we'll be listening with the K3 (but no special receiving antennas). 1850 is
the suggested Salmon Run frequency, however there's local SSB traffic at that
time on occasion, so perhaps look between 1820-1830 as well.

See you in the Salmon Run !

Brian N9ADG (but really N9ADG/7)
