I fully agree. I have a 300'+ outdoor run of CAT6 on my LAN. The portion
which is not in conduit is seriously deteriorating from the sun's
ultraviolet rays after only about a year.

For one of my reversible Beverage antennas, I just use a single RG-6
feedline. No need for a separate cable for both directions! You can buy
flooded RG-6 coax in 1000' spools very inexpensively.
