You weren't kidding! I've used the Beverage mainly for listening on 160 and
below, but on 40 meters, WOW! Thanks for lighting a fire under me. I just
built a 40 meter ground plane I designed in EZNEC. I'm using that to
transmit and the Beverages for receiving.
I figured that I would run into more difficulties because of the much
narrower beamwidth on 40, but not so.
