Howdy Radio Aficionados

Life keeps throwing obstacles to my radio life, keeping me from devoting more of my life to beloved ham radio. Making me to move to another country, just when I seem to mature my station setup. I have always tried to keep my priorities straight, God, family, business first, while hobbies, sports, radio - second, time and resources permitting.

One of the recent "obstacles" turned out to be the 160 acre MountainView resort on the border of Catskill and Pocono Mountains that we took over in sad condition. We got married there in 1973, our children grew up there in the summer camps. Three years of restoration work later and we are proud to open our doors to the public, to enjoy this magnificent location. Presently we are focusing on weddings, banquets and are gearing up to host fairs, festivals, conventions. 

Seeing that we do not have our North American Friedrichshafen, we would like to open our hospitality to hams and become the home of Tesla Radiofest - hamfest/convention focusing on top of ham radio operating, technology and new things applicable to our radio lives. We have plenty of accommodations to hold presentations, banquets, commercial exhibits, excellent food and bars, plenty of parking and camping space by our 9 acre lake. 

This year we are inviting you to our Tesla Radiofest kick-off BBQ on Saturday, July 23, from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm, to have a look at the venue, socialize with good food and brew while watching some presentations. Bring your club members and have your club meeting there, have Q&A session to discuss various subjects. We are aiming this to become high quality event where the best in our field will share their advances in operating and technology.
