Topband: T Vertical with elevated radials ?

Hi everyone,

  I am fixing my T Vertical and I was wondering if anyone here is using a
similar antenna with elevated radials? is it worth trying with 2-4 elevated
(2 meters from the ground) radials?

  Do the radials need to be fullsize or tuned?

  The ground here is very poor and I used to have about 40 ground radials
with 3 ground rods and antenna was working quite OK but I read that
elevated radials should work better??
