Tnx, Ian, for the info. On the same subj., KSM (using the former KPH equipment and rec/xmit sites) is still on the air. They send (around 20wpm) wx, news, tfc lists, etc on several frequencies...usually on the weekends. The Maritime Radio Historical Society keeps it running and is an on-going project. The web site is: http://www.radiomarine.org/. The web site has a lot of stories, pix, history of KPH and recordings of cw traffic. Ham call is K6KPH. Another great resource for the coastal radio stn/ship buff.
