Topband: Antennas down at VE3CV - Ice Storm!

Well the ice storm did a job here.  My DXE 5 band hexxbeam looks like a bowl of spaghetti...just one broken spreader tip!
My main mast that supports the 80 doublet I use for 160m and my 80m delta
loop broke in the middle and is lying on top of the steel workshop where the main shack is. Will post some pics on my QRZ.com site.  I spent all day Sunday redoing all three Beverages that Bill, VE3CSK and I put up a week ago.  They are now all working for 330, 165 and 75 degrees..

So now I have to build a new doublet and get it hung before the Stew Perry.....the reason I put up the Beverages!
Also, it would be nice if the power came back on...been off since 9AM
Sunday.  Just got the gas cans filled again.  At least the wood stove is doing the trick and the XYL is still in good spirits.  Adversity makes
us stronger...hope that goes for RF signals!

Look for my weaker than normal 100W signal in the SPDXC.
Hope all the stations that were also under this massive freezing rain storm
are OK.  I am sure a lot have suffered damage as well.

Merry Christmas and  HNY to all.

PS  The power came back on at 2:15 Tuesday!  Guess I will now
be cooking the turkey for Christmas. Yeah!
