That is very sad news, indeed...

I always likened David's signal akin to being "...the beacon of Britain"---if HIS signal couldn't be heard, it was of little use to tune around the band! Best to simply switch-off the rig & go upstairs & watch television.

He will surely be missed by many on this side of the great divide between NA & Great Britain.
