Hi Charlie, I wasn't sure...subj. sorta sounded like
he might be testing.

I'm still hearing the 80m sigs here near Smithfield.
Much weaker now, but readable. No dir. antennas so
can't add to the thread..but interesting reading.

Don't think Roger was testing. I think he was reporting a signal he was
hearing from the south of ME.

Roger, if you are testing you might
use the reverse beacon network.
Make several CW CQ calls and maybe a 
'skimmer' will hear you...neat hi
tech way to see if one is getting out..
gives sig. strength rprt too.
