Yes. Also see the Choke Cookbook in k9yc.com/RFI-Ham.pdf 16 turns of a
4 ft length of two parallel #12 THHN conductors connected as a section
of parallel wire line makes an excellent choke for 160-30M, and will
handle a lot of power if the antenna is reasonably well balanced. W8JI
has shown that a vertical with a folded counterpoise is not well
balanced (the FCP is electrically short), and high power could fry this
choke.
