Topband: The Stew from the Australian 'left coast'

Unfortunately for those in the south-west of Western Australia, such as Phil VK6GX and myself, the ‘Pre-Stew’ was a total wash-out, owing to lightning which lasted for the duration of the contest.  Both of us were already to go but the static crashes were well over S9 and it was downright unsafe to operate.

This kind of weather is very unusual for spring in WA and is more reminiscent of late summer.
