Let’s see. You likely have thousands if not tens of thousands invested in gear and antennas. You have a computer and a monthly ISP bill. And a monthly electric bill. These guys unselfishly invested their own time and a lot more than $6 each to give you the joy of an ATNO and band/mode slots.

Did you donate to the project ahead of time? Do you donate to Clublog that has substantial costs but does not require you to join and that allows you to request your card via the bureau for free?

Are you “thirfty” out of financial necessity? OK. You’ll get your card and LOTW eventually. Or is it just out of habit?

So why even bring it up?

Sympathy is in the dictionary between two words I won't repeat here.
