That was a very interesting article in 73 about Stew Perry.

They discussed the WARC bands. I remember when they were announced but I don't recall the proposal to expand the 160 meter band to  1750-2000 kHz.

Does anyone know why we didn't get the extra 50 kHz? Did the radionavigation services want to use it?
