Finding a suitable plastic antenna tuning box is often not easy in local rural America.

I have found that heavy duty black fishing tackle boxes work well.  Many are thick walled, and designed to be out in the hot sun on docks, and in boats for long periods, year after year.

They come in various sizes with covers that open for easy mounting of components, and tuning.
