Topband: Far Circuits K9ay Loop kit

Hi All

I have dug my old Far Circuits K9ay kit out and was trying trying the preamp in it on my RX loop,

When I switch it in line it kills the RX by about 30db,

anyone have any troubleshooting tips for it,
