I once ordered some dead soft pure aluminum wire
and it was as soft as "butter" :-)  Even softer
than solder.  The alloy was something like 1100.
Unfortunately, I don't have the vendor info handy.
You sometimes see this wire used to strap toys
to a cardboard display box. It is called
"tie wire" for obvious reasons.  Wasn't expensive
either, like a penny a foot.

It was way more limp than aluminum electric fence
wire as found at any farm supply.
