Well now!
I sort of tracked down my intermittent that caused my 160 inv'L to have the SWR shoot thru the roof. At least I have it working. Replacing coax jumpers in the shack and multiple taps on the antenna coil I apparently tracked down a coax jumper between the W2 Elecraft wattmeter and the Palstar AT5K-HP tuner input. That or the coax between the multiple switch and the MFJ window feed thru. Both have been replaced. One of the coax's was from MPD digital which I consider very good quality and still could not find an open or short checking with my DMM? Go figure! Anyway the inv'L will now take 1000+ watts of drive and the ganged antenna switches appear to be working. Strange how the problem only showed up on the inv'L and not on any other band or antenna. But right now things appear alright...the K3, palstar amp (HF-2500), going thru the tuner and the switches are working so I'm apparently ready for the contest this weekend. Hope to work a lot of you this weekend.
Bueatiful day today in Oregon and the Cascades with their snow pack makes a nice view.

Put in power and SWR goes thru the roof????? Go Figure. Planning on seting up a K2AV FCP but it won't be by next weekend and my favorite 160 contest....160CQSSB. Been lazy this winter I guess.
