I had a similar 90 KHZ ish periodic noise from below BC band thru 10 mhz, and it turned out to be the cheap float battery charger on my neighbor's generator---about 1000 Ft from my home. Replaced it and noise is gone. Ned WC4X Ned Mountain ned.mountain at mindspring.com 770 823 4205 (M)
