Hi all

for this WPX I have installed DHDL using 14m spacing between 7m vertical
sides, as I cannot fit the original 22 m version in my city backyard.
Initially used a cheap RG6, and then later replaced to even cheaper CAT5
twisted pair, with a clear improvement. The next thing I was going to try
was to use a better quality balanced line such as Belden 9207 (albeit
prohibitively pricey!).

For anyone interested in experimenting with building their own receive
antennas, at the moment on ebay a gentleman in Ohio is selling miles of New
Old Stock Belden 9207 for a fraction of cost in 50 feet increments.

I bought circa 300 feet for my own use and even with a rather pricey USPS
shipment cost to Australia, the purchase represents a bargain.

The OM selling the cable presently has a $3 per 50 feet price tag. I have
exchanged multiple messages before the purchase, and from all I can see it
is a great and genuine deal.

The following keywords might narrow your search: "50' Belden 9207 Twinax" .
Good luck with your own experimenting.
