 A terrible loss of a fountain of knowledge.  Happy memories and excitement working John on Top Band from my apartment QTH in Monterey with an inverted L/9 radials and 600W.  He had great ears.  We owe him a debt of gratitude and appreciation, and will miss him greatly.
