Condx and distance make so much difference. In California my 160m DXCC
total was abt 60 over a 20 year time period.
I retired to Arizona in 2009 when condx were great and using a 30ft tall TV
mast for the vertical section and abt 80ft horizontal sloping to 20ft at
the end, I easily worked over 100 countries. Had abt 8 radials.
I am also 400 miles closer to EU and alway hear and work more DX on 160m at
any time than when I was in California.
I am now over 210 on my DXcc count. 2009 to 2012 time period was the best I
have ever heard 160m!
