Hello Wes et al,
There are plenty of successful Topbans stations from Florida - N4WW, N4IS and I believe NN4X just to mention a few.

Over my 40 plus years on 160 meters, many were the times when stations in 4 land (Florida) had propagation to Asia when we heard nothing. The most striking example for me was 4W8X. That team put in a outstanding effort on TB and never once was I able to hear them. On the other hand, I know that many stations in 4 land worked 4W8X. And for the record, I put in probably 30 to 40 hours listening.

So, every area has advantages and disadvantages when it comes to propagation on TB. 73 and GL, Bob K3UL

There could be other examples but N4IS leaps to mind. He lives in FL and has 305 entities on 160. Maybe he worked some of them elsewhere, I don't know.

Wes Stewart, N7WS
It sucks to live in Florida and operate on 160 meters.

Not really but I do enjoy the challenge.
