Too bad about not getting your FO license. Governments can be
frustrating at times. Bet you could write a book about it!

160 seems to be getting seasonally better but didnt hear any Euros
this past weekend event tho there were spots. Worked mostly C.A. and
the Carrib + KH6.

Any plans to operate for the upcoming ARRL 160m contest? and the ARRL
10m contest?

Bob

	Bob,

I was just quicky checking 80 m but, as you said, I had QRN. I have
hunted down most of the QRN sources on 160 but have not done that for
80. Also, the QTH was unique: In Anaho Bay on Nuku Hiva Island, there
were steep cliffs on three sides, only open from NW to NNE. For W3
probably just OK. I got great reports from W7 on 160, pretty poor from
FL. TKS for calling anyway.

Too bad I did not get my FO license, it have been good to hand out
FO/M on 160.

George, tnx for the effort!! I heard you pretty well Sat night on 160
and even better on 80 cw

CQing in the contest without a lot of replies. Must have called you
50

times on 80m. You came back with some "QRZ's?" and a couple of "W3?"

but never pulled me through. Around 0600z. Didnt hear many replies.

QRN issues? My INV-L was giving me a higher than normal swr so might

have had some ice build up. In any case tnx for trying, Mr. DX! Happy
Holidays

	Bob
