Hi Roger, I would disagree,  I was QRV from MD4K, and as Bob suggested, anyone not doing Single band picks their time,  part of your all band strategy.I'm not sure how much Bob appreciates this, but EU activity is quite high in EU, albeit 1 point contacts. So what of the DX, actually NA?  So, looking at my 160m stints ( yes, I am a desirable mult, so only ran :-) )  :Saturday 03:00 - 03:47 - 1st stint, so I was popular,   1 K1 only made it through.06:56 - 07:03 -  9 NA -  W1, W3, K5, W8, VE3Sunday05:04 - 05:30 -  14 NA   W1, W2, W4, W9, VA2.   I think PJ2T was cqing in EU face when I came on band, no one got through07:06 -07:09 - 3 NA  W1, VE3MW5B  ( G3WVG)  did a single band effort, but I've not seen a breakdown, I will guarantee even more NA and DX,  my time would be limitedSo, that's 27 NA QSOs in less than 2 hours operating. Signals seemed quite reasonable to meAntenna was a dipole, at 45' -  we could not ut tower to the full height,  due to the battering we had from Storm Bert73  Dave, G3NKC  @MD4K Sent from my Galaxy

However, I expected to hear more of the Big Guns from NA calling CQ, butdidn't !Only worked one additional NA station on Saturday night. It seemed to me to be more a lack of activity than hopeless conditions.Roger G3YRO_________________Searchable Archives: http://www.contesting.com/_topband - Topband Reflector
