Well Guys,

  160m is finally showing some improvement reaching  higher into the 
northern latitudes.  FT8 is not my favorite mode but I still find it 
very useful. A couple of quick CQs and looking at PSK reporter you can 
tell without a doubt where the band is open from your location with 
hundreds of reporting stations in less than 5 minutes world wide.

This is a very nice tool for me as my station is solely on battery 
power. You may very well work a new one!
