BUT -- remember that propagation into darkness peaks for as 30-45 
minutes on the DAYLIGHT side of the terminator! Waiting until darkess 
misses good propagation, and so does quitting at the first sign of 
daylight in the morning! On 80M, it's about one hour, on 40M its about 
two hours. I have many times been frustrated by expedition operators who 
don't understand this, and change bands just when their signal to me is 
about to build!
