Topband: Equinox EU DX season report at VE6WZ

I'm always interested to see what my buddy Steve is working "up there" in VE6 land! It was also nice to have Bob's report. 

Down here to the south and in the middle of the country in Arkansas we don't have to worry too much about the aurora and we tend to have fair prop to EU as well as JA and the pacific. In reviewing my log, here is what I have:

CW: TI, P4, PJ4, VK 
FT8: 8Q, 9L, 9U, C5, FW, HK0, HS0, JA, VK

CW during CQWW 160: 9A, 9Y, DL, E7, EA, EI, F, G, GW, HB, HI, I, KH6, KP2, KP4, LX, LY, LZ, OK, OM, ON, P4, PA, PJ2, PY, S5, SP, TI, V2, YU, YV, ZF

I had two new RX antenna designs I had been asked to test this season along with my usual group of RX antennas. It is difficult to obtain valid results by using only one data point (one low band season) as several are required to be meaningful. Nonetheless it was a decent low band season here in Arkansas.

The one thing that does irritate me a bit are the DXpeditions that boast "focus on low bands" that show up with ineffective antennas and only stay on the band for a few minutes then they throw in the towel completely ignoring, or not understanding, 160 meter propagation.

I already look forward to the next low band here in the norther hemisphere and will be watching what you folks "down under" are doing the next few months!
