The "self-centering" design of the Yaesu rotators is a great help
when used with thrust bearings. Too bad it's aluminum.
On the down side - the Yaesu motors are DC, which lends to noisy,
sparking brushes after a while. I haven't opened mine yet, but will
have to soon, as now it wipes out .5 uV signals while turning.
Never had that problem with the CDR/Hy_gain jobs. de KL7HF
