Guy Wire Spacing

I am a little confused about guy wire distances from the base to the anchor.
I know that Rohn reccomends 80% of the height.  I have heard as little as 
30% of height.  I am planning on a 80' tower(Rohn25), 3 guys.  I am 
trying to keep the area as small as possible to keep the Wife happy and 
to minimize the discontent :-)
Any Ideas and suggestions are appreciated!!
