Bracketing a self-supporting tower.

It's time for a reality check here. 40' of Rohn 25G is NOT
self supporting!
Without proper professional analysis, I would not add a bracket
to a tower which was truly self-supporting. Adding the bracket
will completely change the distribution of forces and moments
on the tower, and could redistribute or increase the forces
to a point in the structure not expected to sustain such forces.
