TIC Ring and CC 2L 40m TRUSS ?

Hi Bill...

On my 40M4L yagi I made a truss clamp from plate aluminum and muffler clamps
offsetting it from the boom center towards the reflector just far enough
 that it was clear of the boom clamps on the ring (about 14").... I used a
length of TV mast for the truss support... Yes, it is not symmetrical, but
there is no mechanical imperative for it to be centered.... It has been up
for a year without problems...
