Dave,
	I  use I beams the road crews leave along the side of the road. They are
free and bulit to handle the guard rails attached to them. I am always on
the lookout for stuff like this because in Hawaii the shipping for tower
materials is almost the cost of the unit. 
	I once bought some 45G on the mainland for $35/section, paid that much to
ship via boat!
