I tend to recommend what Rohn recommends. I do not see AX towers in the
current catalog so I expect Rohn does not recommend them at all, at least
for ham use.
I know that won't stop you, so I would recommend what Rohn recommends for a
56 foot BX tower: a block that is 4 feet on a side and 5' 3" deep, or 4.1
cubic yards. They also recommend a maximum of 6 square feet of antenna, a
maximum boom length of 10 feet, and maximum winds of 70.7 mph, but that is
for the HEAVIER BX-56 . . .
Personally, I wouldn't use it.
