Hi Ken,
I used an HD-73 for many years, it is a good performer for small 
tribanders.
After 12 years it was wrecked by two ice storms....and a lightning 
hit!!! I fixed the control box, but the motor housing has nothing but 
little pieces in it....I now have a Yaesu G-800SDX, I hope it lasts 
as long
