[TowerTalk] 40m vert. & radials

[K4SB]

W1CM ( I think ) had an interesting thread on his vertical and radials.

In it he mentioned the vertical began 4' off the ground. 

I know he has snow, but I wonder what would happen if the end were
lowered. 4' is just to significant a %. The old addage "Verticals
radiate equally poorly in all directions" came from the fact that
initially, hams still assumed the higher the better.
