24ft yagi boom loaded for 40m?

I have read in the past some discussions regarding using
a 24ft 2" O.D. yagi boom as a 40m dipole. A am in the process of
installing a th6dxx (24ft boom) onto a 70ft crankup tower.
If anyone has any experience using a yagi boom in this fashion I sure
would like to hear from you. I would also hear about any comparisons
you may have done between this and other antennas.
