Hi Frank:

I personally don't own an LM-470, but my friend K2WE does.
The tower has been up for the past 15 years or so, with a
variety of HF and VHF antennas stacked above the top of
the tower on a fifteen foot mast, as well as on a TIC ring
mounted partway down the top section.

Currently, he has a Force-12 Magnum 520/340 on a 30 foot boom,
a dual-band 10/15 above that, and at least two VHF beams above
the tower. The ring rotor is supporting a 15 element 2 meter
beam. Oh yeah, and a few verticals etc for good measure.

I know he recabled the tower himself last summer and it wasn't
a big deal with the tower tilted over horizontally. He
rarely lowers the tower, except if really severe weather
is forecast.

Another friend, WA2MZX, has an LM-470 he installed 3 years
ago. he has had a KT-34XA and Mosley 2 element 40, a Hygain
205-CA and Cushcraft 402-CD, and currently a Force-12 C4-XL
mounted on a large mast above the tower.

I hope these empirical data points help you.

Very 73,

J.P. W2XX
