I don't have the numbers right in front of me, but 300 series stainless
steel (most bolts and nuts are made of 305) has about 80% of the
strength of the grade five bolts that Rohn specifies.

If the tower sections are not heavily loaded in compression then they
are probably OK. Only your engineer knows for sure. ;)
