Fellow Tower Talkians,

Some of you may recall my saga with the city of Concord,
CA.

It went something like this: I applied for a "use" permit
and was denied. I scaled everything down (to 24ft.) and
applied for a Building Permit. Today, that was denied.

I wish I could say it has been a fun journey, but it
hasn't. I'm fresh out of alternatives now. The Building
Permit was denied because the "new" official
interpretation of the ordinance says that no accessory
structures can be more than 16ft. in height.

I started back in September of 1996. I'm tired. This
should just about wrap it up for me. Of course, legal
action is always possible, but my resources (and optimism)
are running a bit low just now... Maybe one day!

A big THANKS to all the reflectorites who have been so
informative and supportive to me over the past 6-7 months.

Steve, K7LXC, runs the best reflector on the internet,
hands down!

Best Regards,
Joe Spinosa
