     This is a good case for parking your antenna system at different
headings so that it engages different teeth and not the same ones every time.
This is recommended by rotator manufacturers but isn't mentioned very often.
And this is regardless of which way you have the antennas oriented vis-a-vis
wind direction. If you've parked your system at 15 degrees since the 80's,
try 360 degrees or 30 degrees or something different each time. Your rotator
will appreciate it. 

     And, per the lack of consensus for 'which way to point a resting antenna
system' in the current thread, maybe it doesn't make much difference WHICH
way it's pointing anyway.
