[TowerTalk] Cush 40-2 CD rust

Took apart a lightning hit trap on my 10 year old Cush 40-2CD two el beam
yesterday.  Surprized to see a plated pair of self-tapping metal screws
holding the coil wire in the trap to the alumn. element sections--one
screw on each end of the coil, fiberglass rod insulator.
The screws were rusted!!!  and that was under the shrink wrap from the
factory and I had added a layer of elect tape.  Stainless there for these
screws would be oh so much better.  Wow, who specs. these antennas,
anyway???  Buyer beware.  de K4VUD
