[TowerTalk] Galvanizing 4130?

Hi all!  I have a "normalized" 4130 2"O.D. mast that I think I want to
galvanize.  It has a black colored outside surface condition as supplied
from the metal dealer.  I am wondering if there are any tricks or
unusual circumstances that might be involved in galvanizing this alloy.
The local galvanizer is used to mild steels like A36 and is doing some
research on the feasibility of doing 4130.

Can any "towertalkians" shed any light on this??
